Manji

I met Sophia in map. She's working on her dream of becoming an alchemist. To make the sparkling rock, she says she needs 30 Squishy Liquids, 30 Leafs, 30 Octopus Legs and 1 Arcon's Blood. Everything looks reasonable enough... wait, Arcon's Blood?! Fortunately, Sophia knows where to get some. She says to have a chat with Manji, who's somewhere around map.

I found Manji in map, and as expected, he was unwilling to give me any Arcon's Blood for free. He told me to go to the underground tunnel in the middle of the island, defeat 75 Zombie Mushroom, and gather up 40 Charm of the Undead first. I practically shivered at how coldly Manji treated me... I almost regret agreeing to help Maya, but no one else seems willing to...

I gathered up 40 Charm of the Undead from the Ant Tunnel and gave them to Manji of map. Still cocky, still arrogant, but following through on his promise, he handed over Arcon's Blood to me. Maybe he isn't so horrible after all. Anyway, now I need to gather up 30 Squishy Liquids, 30 Leafs, 30 Octopus Legs, and the Arcon's Blood for Sophia.

I came across Manji again, whom I had first met in map when making the medicine for Maya, the little girl in map. Surprised at how much stronger I had become, Manji asked me for a favor. Long ago, when he was in danger of being struck down by Balrog, he was saved by the legendary hero Tristan, who died in his place. Ever since then, Manji had held onto Tristan’s sword. But the blade, corrupted by Balrog’s evil aura, has become so worn down that it can hardly even be called a sword anymore… Manji handed me the Old Gladius he had been keeping and asked me to awaken it back to its true form. Once fully awakened, it is said to become the Hero's Gladius. Just as Manji said, I should seek out Chrishrama in map.

With Chrishrama’s help, I was able to awaken the Old Gladius entrusted by Manji into the Hero's Gladius. All that remains is to return the sword to Manji.

Grendel the Really Old is worried that there might be a problem with the World Tree and told me to go ask Manji in map.
